Site Manager
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and management.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all on-site activities to ensure smooth project delivery.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and labour.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Monitor project progress against programme, cost, and quality targets.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and senior management.
Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, RAMS, and permits.
Drive productivity, efficiency, and problem-solving on site.
Conduct regular site inspections to uphold standards and resolve issues.
Ensure materials, plant, and equipment are planned and managed effectively.
Promote a positive team culture and lead by example.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction/engineering.
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations (SMSTS, CSCS required).
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and programmes.
IT literate with site management software and MS Office.
Relevant trade/technical background or degree in Construction Management (preferred).
